We are well familiar by the fact that winter makes our skin dry and crackling. There is not one but many reasons why our skin feels extremely dry and sketchy. So we at Tippytricks here decode some ways to avoid this problem.

1. NOT USING THE RIGHT PRODUCT Every individual has a different skin type. Use products that are specific to your skin. Using wrong products harm you intensely in winters. So consult your dermatologist and ask them to recommend something safe for your skin.

2. HARMFUL UV RAYS OF THE SUN When your skin is continuously exposed to sun, it could lead to allergies, rashes and dryness for some people. Always apply a sunscreen in winters of SPF above 35+ and reapply it within 3-4 hours again. This will avoid flakes, irritation or rashes and help your skin get rid of dryness easily.

3. SUFFERING FROM A HEALTHY DIET You might be suffering from lack of nutritional deficiencies causing dry skin in your body. Refraining too much from oil and low fat fat diets can also make your skin dry.

4. HARSH CLEANSERS Most soaps are alkaline and leads to your skin becoming patchy and dry. Use mild free soap if you have dry skin. Oily skinned people should avoid products that aggravate their glands to produce more oil.

5. EXCESSIVE EXPOSURE TO POLLUTION Exposing your epidermis to too much pollution, dust, pollen can lead to hormonal changes in the skin. Thus stay indoors during winters as much as possible and if not then apply good moisturizer before stepping out.
