Winter weather is a foe for our skin. Harsh and biting winds, dry air and chilly temperature can sap your skin of its glow and suppleness. This winters we provide you with the best solutions to combat the dehydration,flaking and cracking and help you retain the sun- kissed face of summers.

1. Use of lukewarm water: yes indeed hot baths showers are great stress busters and provide unmatchable pleasures but during winters you should make it a point to wash your hands and face with lukewarm water to avoid losing away oils from skin.

2 .Moisture!Moisture and Moisture!: one cannot do away with a moisturiser in chilly weather. Apply it soon after a bath to save your skin from the dampness. Choosing the correct moisturiser is the first step to help protect your skin. Some oil based petroleum moisturiser can leave your skin to further dryness. Thus be wise enough to choose the best and suitable moisturiser that complements your skin.

3. Hydrate: during winters we tend to do away with the convention of "drink at least 8 glasses of water a day" and turn towards hot beverages. However it is equally important to drink water to protect your skin and retain its moisture. We suggest to have lemom in lukewarm water.

4.Exfoliate: it is detrimental to shed away the dead skin specially in winters since moisture cannot penetrate if your skin is fraught with dead cells. Thus lay your on hands on an exfoliating mask or body washes to rejuvenate your skin.

5.Protect: winter is surely the season of "going under the wraps" thus do make it a compulsion to wear gloves and scarves,they act as a shield and would protect your skin from harsh weather.
