5 Perks of having a Government job in India.

We all have a tendency to look down upon people working for the Indian Government, because we donot have the faintest idea of the facilities they get. Trust me, the 'Sarkari Babu' has got a swag of his own.
1. The foremost blessing for them is Pension. Apart from the salary, they are promised a handsome pension. They must be living by the motto "cease the day". Promising!, isin't it?
2. Paid Holidays. Apart from the Casual Leaves and Medical Leaves, the mothers working for the Government, get Child Care leave, for 730 days... Yes, 2 full years! And yeah, for the people working in the private sector, this is NOT work from home!
3. We all know, how difficult it is to find a house in a place like, say, Delhi. No! not for Government employees. Because... They have got Government accomodations, in prime areas like Lodhi Colony, at nominal rents, which is way lower than the market rent.
4. If you are a Gazetted officer, you'll have a stamp of your own. And a number of people would be after you, to get their documents attested! Pure Swag
5. Lastly, we all have heard about the upcoming 7th pay Commission. According to it, the salary of Government employees will get increased by a whooping 23.55%! Just imagine! You never get such an increment in the Private Sector. Do you? Well, nevermind.
So, the next time you see someone preparing for SSC or IAS, you better appreciate their far sightedness!
