With its race to beat the reigning champion with a population of 1.3 Billion people which is roughly 19.1% of the human population in the world, India stands at the close number of 1.2 billion which is 17% of the total human population. With a number so humongous while only being 1/3rd the size of China, India sees so halt in its race to be the most populated country in the world.

With Rising population being the biggest problem in India followed by corruption and poverty, You’re still set to get looks from your local Medical store Uncle and the other aunties sitting around if you ask for a condom.

With India facing population as its most serious problem Condom still seems to be a taboo, Where condoms should be given out for free if not forced upon, people need to stop looking down on the one thing that will help them from overpopulating the country or spread of STDs.

There used to be an advertisement when Swine Flu was rising in India about a man being applauded for after he takes out a handkerchief right before he was about to sneeze in a bus, something similar should be done for a man/ woman who buys a condom. Even more so a woman who buys a female condom is looked down on by the society, Sometimes you don’t need a feminist to understand the fact that something so serious should be dealt with caution, Its common sense.

Wake up India, it’s the 21st century, Buying a condom makes you smart, Also you’re getting some and that some isn’t an STD it’s a win-win situation.
