5 reasons why prem ratan dhan payo is a complete no-no

Besides being a star studded movie with India's biggest stars, exotic destinations, beautifully carved palaces, camels, elephants and royal costumes, PRDP leaves us wondering are we ready for a cheesy romantic Sooraj Barjatya film high on values and ethics?

1. "SALMAN KHAN" Well the name is enough. But after Bajrangi Bhaijaan is this the kind of movie we really expect out of him? Err, no. He makes quite a statement with a high on moral character but it leaves us debating whether this is what we really wanted to see?

2. NOT FOR NON VEGETARIANS This movie is strictly vegetarian. High on drama, masala and content, this movie provides good screen space to laddus, jalebis and religious food items. All the food lovers out there, it is a treat for you guys to fill your taste buds by watching your favorite food items share ample screen space.

3. A BIT STRETCHED For a 174 minute film, prem ratan dhan payo definitely has a huge star cast of 50+ As prem says,' You need a family to be happy' continues throughout the film with characters coming out of nowhere in a very short span of screenplay. 4. SLOW MOTION-ISH Inspite of Salman Khan's amazing comic timing, this movie fails to impress the fast moving metro people who have called the movie as Unrealistic and Slow. The pattern of delivering a dialogue is 'Dialogue-thumping music-Dialogue-Song. Gets a bit irritating after a while. Obviously.

5. SUDDEN TEARJERKING While watching the film you get so lost that you dont understand when the happy moments turn sad which further turn to big tearjerkers. Go with a box of tissues for all the drama queen daily soap addicted aunties. Thats an advice Tippytricks gives you. The movie has raked in more than 40 crores in its first two days, it is expected to earn around 300 crore according to leading newspapers. Its definitely worth a shot for all salman khan fans but not worthwhile for anybody seeking to watch realistic cinema. Caution: Keep your brains aside while watching it.
