Hey Readers! It's time to get familiar with Delhi University- the most prestigious University of India yet doesn't find a place in Top 100 Universities of the World,that's too ironical. Before getting admitted into DU, one always makes a prejudice regarding college life to be as similar as that showed in the movie“Student of The Year”. But how far his prejudice proves to be true is the matter of concern. Well, here are the 5 things that every student will come across after getting into DU:

1. TOO MUCH SWAG TO HANDLE

The first thing that attracts an outstation student the most is the swag of not just the students but of the Teachers as well. One could not easily make out whether he is attending a college or some fashion shows. It's always fine to be fashionable until & unless you turn out to be a Rowdy & boastful fellow mate. This sometimes proves to be horrible as well .

2. BEST REFLECTION OF INDIAN POLITICS

At the time when its high time for elections you would find the similar Political scenario in DU as Indian elections makes. Massive Rallies, roads filled with piles of ballots,never ending propaganda, and moreover those bossy followers of candidates distributing free movie tickets,fast food coupons and other kinds of goodies. Whether you find a good friend till elections or not but you're surely gonna have many brothers and sisters to help you anytime on the condition of being elected. Students also get involved in offensive activities to make sure no harm is made to their ego as such threatening the opposing candidate & Bla Bla Bla !!!

3.PREPARING FOR THE SEMESTER EXAMS? THERE'S SOMETHING YOU MAY HAVE FORGOTTEN!!

Coming straightforward to the point, 90% of DU undergraduates start their preparations at the end of the semester when it's almost high time for the exams. And there is more to it - you realize that books remained to be purchased and it's yet to be known about the syllabus !! This is really weird .

4. THE HAPPY HOLIDAYS OF DU TEACHER IS NEVER ENDING TREND !

You travel almost an hour in the metro to visit your prestigious college and attend the Lectures, but to your amazement, you find that it's an off for the Lecturer, Again!! This really creates frustration and makes a student angry inside out. This Trend continues even when Hefty amount of course is left to complete within limited time frame. This is the only bad thing about DU that one could never expect of even in his wildest dreams. Something must be done.

5. EDUCATED CHAIN SMOKERS!!

This title must be awarded,with due respect, to all those DU students who can't Live without smoking even for a single day- 10% of this happens due to necessity of Nicotine that your blood urgently needs but 90% goes to your Ego Protection because you can't afford to get it hurt in front of your loving mates! What the hell on Earth is that? If you educated fluent English speakers can't read on the very Packet of the Cigarette that it's too much dangerous for health that u may end up with being a victim of cancer, then my buddy you're at par with those illiterate people!!
