Getting dressed for a party can be a daunting task. Each one has a lil party animal inside of us but turning yourself into a potential mess? Who would want that? Thus it is required to not go wild with your dress. Keep in mind comfort is the key.
1. GO THE WEDGE-WAY
Wear comfortable wedges and heels which you can carry easily. Im sure you wouldn't want to be on the couch easing your swollen toes. Or would you?
Moreover if you are sloshed walking in an uncomfortable pair of shoes would become an unbearable task.
2. SAY NO TO GOWNS
Avoid wearing floor lenght or body hugging gowns.
Every one of us dresses only to make heads turn and outshine others. On one hand gowns can make us look ravishing but it can be restricting as it can make walking a task. Also they can easily drag on floors and get caught in someone's feet making them trip or the gown getting torn.You don't wanna be the laughing stock now. Do you?
3. SLING THE BAG!
Lugging a bag around can be a pain when you are out for a party. Constant care of the bag preventing it from getting misplaced holds you back from letting it loose and going bonkers. However a bag always adds to your outfit. So carry a small sling bag that fits your mobile,cash and keys.
4. ACCESSORIZE HEAVY? NAH!
it is always best to accessorise your outfit however "excess of anything is bad". So be subtle in a ravishing way. Avoid heavy jewellery. Try not to wear heavy neckpieces with heavy dresses. Opt for a earring instead.Do not go overboard with it as it may make you look out of place.
5. DON'T GO OVERBOARD WITH THE LIPSTICK
One of the most important aspect of getting dressed has always been makeup. Girls you must wear the right amount of makeup to look sober and do not go over the top with it specially with the lip colour. Use make up that matches your skin tone. Do not wear a loud makeup as it would only seek attention for all wrong reasons. Along with the right makeup wear a fragnant perfume.
